Blueprint
Blueprint was an evidence-based research programme designed to test the implementation of a multi-component approach to school-based drug education in the English school and drug delivery setting.
The focus of the programme was the provision of intensive drug education lessons to pupils in the first two years of secondary school, supported by work across four other component areas: parents, community, local media and health policy.
Results of the research will provide both immediate learning - to influence drug education policy and practice - and a clearer idea of what future research priorities might be.
