Drug strategy - Equality Impact Assessment
The government is required to consider how new policies might impact all members of the community. This Equality Impact Assessment (EIA) was conducted by an independent specialist, and was supported by a process of stakeholder engagement which sought the opinions of many equality target groups. Its recommendations helped inform the development of the new drug strategy and action plan.
