DIP - Nipping it in the bud (Conditional Cautioning - November 2008)
This factsheet explains how the DIP condition can be used as a tool by the police as an early intervention for offenders suitable for conditional cautioning, providing an incentive to get treatment and support before their drug-related offending escalates. It is intended primarily for police officers, drug workers and defence solicitors but is available to download by any interest stakeholder.
