Code of practice
ACMD members are expected to comply at all times with the code of practice.
The code is based principally on the Code of Practice for Scientific Advisory Committees. It is a working document – subject to periodic review by the Council subsequent to:
- feedback from members
- feedback from stakeholders
- new or updated guidance from Government.
Both ACMD members and individuals who may be appointed, or co-opted, to working groups and sub-groups, for short periods of time, are expected to comply at all times with the Code of Practice.
