Home Office

The Home Office is the government department responsible for internal affairs in England and Wales. There are a number of departments within the Home Office that contribute to delivery of the National Drugs Strategy.

The departments within the Home Office that contribute to delivery of the drug strategy include:

Crime and Drug Strategy Directorate 

Responsible for driving forward the development and delivery of the Drug Strategy. 

Research Development and Statistics (RDS) Directorate

Provides research and statistical information about drugs to the Home Office. 

Local Delivery Managers Project Team 

The team is responsible for improving performance against Home Office objectives and outcomes that require cross-cutting partnership working.
