Drug prevention project
The Department of Health provides drug prevention projects through Health Action Zones (HAZs). HAZs are partnerships between the NHS, local authorities, community groups and the voluntary and business sectors.
HAZ projects are targeted at:

vulnerable young people (e.g. young offenders, looked-after children, pupils excluded from schools)

those considered most at risk of developing drug problems, often in deprived areas
