Drug strategy
International co-operation
Drug trafficking is a global business and drug misuse a common issue internationally; we work very closely with our international partners to tackle drugs.
Finding a realistic and effective response to the drugs problem remains a political priority for the European Union. The EU Drugs Strategy aims to take a balanced and integrated approach to drugs.
The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) aims to help Governments implement their obligations under the UN Drug Control Conventions - the major legal instruments for addressing the drugs problem at the global level.
