Breach and enforcement
The CJS Review recommended implementation of Follow Up assessment and extension of trigger offences.
Work will also be undertaken to reduce attrition, and improve breach and enforcement processes within DIP, supporting the overall progression of DIP and the introduction of Follow Up assessment. Since its inception, DIP has had great success and as a result of this ministers have decided to implement Follow Up assessment. Similarly, it is now felt appropriate to strengthen and reinforce current practice.
