Families and drugs
Families play an invaluable role in helping drug misusers to address the issues arising from drug use.
The interpretation of family strategies in the delivery of the services by local partnerships raises significant challenges, especially for drug misusers in contact with the Criminal Justice System (CJS) and their families.
To continue to support delivery of provision for these clients, the Drug Intervention Programme (DIP) is working with a range of stakeholders to identify and promote examples of practice.
