Guidance for the Implementation of the DIP provisions of the Drugs Act 2005
This document provides operational process guidance on the implementation of Testing on Arrest, required assessment (RA) and Restriction on Bail provisions (RoB). This guidance updates and replaces guidance published in March 2006. It came into effect on 2nd April 2007 and is for use by all areas implementing Testing on Arrest and required assessment (initial and follow-up)

The Required Assessment forms have all been updated as of 12/02/2006
RA1 The form to use for written notice of Initial Assessment.
RA2 This is the form to use to vary an appointment time for either Required Assessment.
RA3 This is the form for recording who attended/remained at either Required Assessment.
RA4This is the form to use to confirm that the client is required to attend and remain for the duration of the follow-up assessment and to confirm the details of that assessment.
RA5 This is the form to confirm that the requirement to attend and remain for the duration of a follow-up assessment ceases.
