An expert panel chaired by the Home Office will assess nominations on the following criteria. Winners will be invited to an awards reception in December.
A) Approach
A nominee scoring highly on this criteria will:
- Work proactively to achieve their goals
- Offer a highly accessible service
- Be responsive to the needs of the community
- Target their work where it will have the greatest effect
B) Action
A nominee scoring highly on this criteria will:
- Tailor their approach to the needs of their clients/community
- Work across institutional boundaries and collaboratively with local partners
- Engage and work with the local community to respond to local issues
- Focus on outcomes and maximise the impact of their work
C) Impact and outcomes
A nominee scoring highly on this criteria will:
- Demonstrate positive and quantifiable benefits from their work
- Deliver outcomes that are sustainable
- Make a positive impact on the community
D) The extra Mile
A nominee scoring highly on this criteria will:
- Demonstrate outstanding commitment to their work
- Be innovative and prepared to consider new approaches
- Insprire others and be a role model
