Judging Criteria

An expert panel chaired by the Home Office will assess nominations on the following criteria. Winners will be invited to an awards reception in December.

 

A)  Approach

A nominee scoring highly on this criteria will:

• Work proactively to achieve their goals
• Offer a highly accessible service
• Be responsive to the needs of the community
• Target their work where it will have the greatest effect

B)   Action

A nominee scoring highly on this criteria will:

• Tailor their approach to the needs of their clients/community
• Work across institutional boundaries and collaboratively with local partners
• Engage and work with the local community to respond to local issues
• Focus on outcomes and maximise the impact of their work

C)  Impact and outcomes

A nominee scoring highly on this criteria will:

• Demonstrate positive and quantifiable benefits from their work
• Deliver outcomes that are sustainable
• Make a positive impact on the community

D) The extra Mile

A nominee scoring highly on this criteria will:

• Demonstrate outstanding commitment to their work
• Be innovative and prepared to consider new approaches
• Insprire others and be a role model
